    • Hey Sean, this is a great film for opening people's minds. I'm not sure how I feel about all of his claims. I've watched the film twice now, the first time was over the summer and the...

The Wonderful Seasons of Rochester

Started by Andrew S. · 7 months ago

I really love all of the seasons in Rochester, but I guess it's the transitions between them that are the most special. As much as I've enjoyed the fall color, I'm excited about the winter as well. I love the snow and I don't mind the cold. It gives each of us in Rochester the opportunit ... Continue reading »

  • This is somewhat of a departure from the heavier stuff, but a well needed one! Every so often we should pause and think about what is beautiful in our lives. I personally love late fall. I like the crisp, clean, colorful fall autumn days, but for some reason I also like the bleak, gray sky. Winter is cool, too. I like layering lots of clothing. I love how we get to experience all four seasons here in Roch.

    Nice post Andrew!!
  • Thanks for this pick-me-up Andrew. It has been a bummer lately, checking out the news on Rochester from abroad, only to see the same old sad and frustrating situations. It's nice to remember the things I really enjoy about the place where I was raised.
  • Hey, no problem Natalie. I'm glad to hear you're reading our site! Hey we saw the new Bond film the other night and it features Siena and the Palio right at the beginning of the movie. It made me think of you! I've never experienced fall in Italy, but I guess this is your second time so I hope you enjoyed it. Try not to get down Natalie, just remember you're in Italy!
  • Andrew, I loved this post, especially the part about the 'continua; griping of weaker souls'. It is especailly annoying when these souls are also the weather reporters on TV & radio! So, how about trying out those snowshoes Santa brought last year, too? Great exercise and they can take you places you cannot ordinarily go to see the real beauty of nature in the winter. And how about sharing some of your awesome pics of the seasons in Rochester (ex. Letchworth in Fall, Winter , Spring & Summer) You are an award winning photographer! Do share! See you on the slopes!
