  • And let the Global Warming zealots swoop down upon this article and claim the rocket scientist was bought out by oil companies and republican politicians. Facts are a bitter medicine for those who make an issue a religion.
  • I couldn't agree more. People want to help the environment, but to these people the 'global warming thing' has turned into a religion. One possible definition is: "a pursuit or interest to which someone ascribes supreme importance". Witness this in the 'debate is over' people. They don't want to be convinced otherwise because they have 'faith' that the earth is getting warmer, the humans are causing it and we all need to die. You can't reason with these people because there is no reason, only blind religion.
